Zubin Munafbhai Kapadia (kah-per-yah), is an attorney at De Varona Law. Inspired by the stories of his ancestors and their sacrifices, Zubin has aspired to become an attorney fighting for a just and equitable future. At De Varona Law, Zubin brings with him a passion for litigation and covers a wide practice area.
Zubin began his legal career as the Mysun Foundation Fellow at the University of Miami’s Environmental Justice Clinic advocating and empowering vulnerable communities disproportionately affected by economic and environmental health burdens. As a fellow, Zubin gained experience working with toxic torts, environmental issues, and complex constitutional litigation.
Zubin graduated from the University of Florida (B.A. in History), Howard University School of Law (J.D.), and Georgetown University Law Center (LL.M. in Environmental & Energy Law). Zubin’s fondest memory from law school is his summer studying abroad in Cape Town, South Africa.
While studying in the nation’s capital, Zubin interned on Capitol Hill with the office of Representatives Charlie Crist (FL) and Pramila Jayapal (WA). Zubin has also interned in judicial Chambers of Judge Vincent Johnson (PA) and with various non-profits including, Earthjustice, Environmental Integrity Project, and the National Fair Housing Alliance.
Today, Zubin is a licensed attorney and member of the Florida Bar. Outside of the office, Zubin enjoys spending time running laps in his neighborhood, cooking, and playing with his three cats.
